Professor William Hope of Liverpool University, a member of The AMR Centre’s Scientific Advisory Board, has launched a new centre to address the antimicrobial drug development challenge.

A state-of-the-art centre will be set up by the University of Liverpool to help accelerate the development of new antibiotics. The University has been awarded £630,000 of infrastructure funding by Innovate UK to create the Centre for Antimicrobial Pharmacodynamics (CAP) in partnership with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) and North Bristol NHS Trust.
