The UK Parliament Health & Social Care Select Committee has recently opened an Inquiry into the Government’s response to antimicrobial resistance (AMR), over the last five years.

The Inquiry will review progress made during the 2013-2018 AMR Strategy. Furthermore, the Inquiry asks what the Government’s response to AMR should be over the next five years. Members of the public and interested organisations can submit written evidence to the Inquiry. The deadline to submit evidence is Friday, 7th September.

In response, the AMR Centre has submitted written evidence to the Inquiry, which will be published in due course.

More information about the Inquiry can be found here.
